Terms of service

What Glovebox does

We connect you with workshops we have vetted for fixed-price repairs, remind you about document renewals, and help with roadside assistance. We are not a mechanic ourselves for jobs dispatched to a partner workshop — the workshop carries out the work under our quality standard, photo-evidence and warranty requirements.

Pricing

A fixed-price job is priced before you approve it. If a workshop finds additional work once a job is underway, they must send you a change order with photo evidence before doing it or charging you for it.

Payment

Payment is collected by mobile money or card once a job is confirmed complete. Refund and dispute handling is described in the app at the time a dispute is raised.

Warranty

Workshop-performed jobs carry a warranty window as stated at booking time. A portion of a workshop's payout is held back for that window before being released.

Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and glovebox share links secure.
